IIRC it was like 85k from the vendor but there's also a vendor in the big city with the dock that sells a far less powerful ebony staff for 250k. I bought that DLC market staff, which it was amazing to me how cheap it was. I haven't made it very far there because I got distracted by a faction quest but yeah I see a lot more high tier items and components in that area and the vendors all sell hexweave/ebony items. I'm currently level 32 and I just went across the river to Klurikon. Add any damage modifiers in your armor, and you can see how "broken" you can make the game.Īt level 22, that's still a pretty good staff, so I would say go ahead and buy it if you have the gold. If you swap the flaming ebony with a high-tier primal staff, you can make the fire do about 250 damage, plus damage over time. Actual damage may not show in the weapon's stats, you have to pay attention to the numbers shown when you actually hit somebody, but you can still craft something with fairly high base damage.įor example, an ebony flame staff, plus flawless flaming rod, rivets, and bindings, and a fire damage gem, will give you a flaming staff in excess of 200 fire damage, plus damage over time. Damaging components in your armor, primal and elemental components in your weapons, and you can see damage in the 1000s with very little effort. Primal components can cause up to 50% susceptibility to elemental damage.

Flawless damaging components add 30% damage to any damage type and they stack. Once you get into the 30s (about 35) you'll see flawless components.
